DSIP Research for Oxidative Stress
An evidence-based overview of research examining DSIP in the context of oxidative stress. This page synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed literature.
Research Summary
Russian research extensively documented DSIP's stress-protective effects. Studies showed preserved mitochondrial respiration under experimental hypoxia, enhanced antioxidant enzyme activity (SOD, catalase, glutathione peroxidase), and reduced lipid peroxidation under cold and hypokinetic stress. DSIP analogs showed comparable activity in several of these models.
