Altimmune reported 15.6% mean weight reduction at 48 weeks in one MOMENTUM phase 2b obesity arm. That sponsor result is not a cited peer-reviewed obesity efficacy publication. Separate published MASLD reports measured 12- and 24-week weight changes in another population. Body-composition findings were exploratory and do not establish superiority to GLP-1-only agents without a head-to-head trial.
